Upload a Excel file to CIE Admin Application

 

Introduction

The following are the instructions on how to submit referral to the CIE Hub through an excel file to a AWS S3 bucket.

Prerequisites

The following are the items that are needed before you began

  • Will need to work with a CIE Admin to get a username and password to AWS management console admin application

  • Will need to download the sample version of the Excel file and format your referral data in that spreadsheet.

Create the Excel File

Using the template provided put your data into the format and save to your hard drive.
NOTE: If unzipping, may need to copy data into a fresh xlsx format

Save the Excel File

The file name should not include any space, period or commas.
Example Name: CSAData070122.xlsx or CSA_Data_070122.xlsx

Login to the Admin Interface

Navigate to the URL for the Referral Bucket. A login page will be promoted put in the values that where given to you from the CIE Admin.

 

 

Navigate to the desired Amazon S3 bucket

Depending on the environment you wish to import to, do a search for the buck you are looking for
UAT: cie-gryp-uat-documents-test
Production: cie-gryp-production-documents-test

Start the Upload process

On the S3 bucket screen, select the upload button

Upload the File

On the Upload screen drag your file over to the drag and drop section

 

After that you will scroll down and select upload to submit the file to the system

 

Verify the upload worked

After the file has been uploaded it will give a success message as seen below. (Please contact CIE Admin if you do not get the success message)

You may also verify by checking the intended Member Support application UI that the referrals from your attachment are now appearing

Logout

Then just logout of the CIE Admin Application
